Raspberry-cucumber-mint lemonade

Feel the coolness of mint, the fruitiness of raspberry and the freshness of cucumber - your perfect summer drink at home.

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)

1 organic cucumber
150 g fresh raspberries
1 handful of fresh mint leaves
Juice of 3 organic limes
1-2 tbsp honey or sugar syrup (to taste)
750 ml cold mineral water (sparkling)
- alternatively ginger ale for a spicy-sweet note
Ice cubes
Optional: A few dashes of rose water for a special aroma


PREPARATION
Wash and finely slice or grate the cucumber. Lightly crush the raspberries and mix with the lime juice and honey or sugar syrup. Lightly crush the mint leaves to release the aroma. Pour all the ingredients into a large carafe and top up with mineral water or ginger ale. Stir, add ice cubes and garnish with fresh raspberries, cucumber slices and mint. If you like, round off the taste with a few splashes of rose water.
Alcoholic refinement:
With gin:
4-6 cl dry gin (e.g. Hendrick's) per glass
With white rum:
For a more tropical version
With vodka:
Neutral, emphasizes raspberry & lime
