Environmentally friendly use

  • Recycled paper: for food, menu and drinks menus
  • No tablecloths
  • Use of linen napkins, washed on site
  • Ironing jars and preserving jars: use of ironing jars/preserving jars for soups, sauces, stocks etc.
  • Sustainable candles: Candles made from sustainably
    recycled biomass, without aluminum shell and 100% environmentally friendly

Resource-saving use of water and energy

  • Efficient water treatment:
    dishwasher filters the water after every rinse, so less fresh water is used
  • Own spring water: From our own spring and well from our forest on the property
  • Photovoltaics: Photovoltaic systems - electricity for our resort
  • Geothermal energy: heat for the hotel rooms
    and the public areas
  • Heat recovery and wood pellets: Heat recovery - waste heat from IT for the
    hotel swimming pool
  • Wood pellets and wood chips - for hot water preparation
  • Biowastewater treatment plant: local water circuit with direct
    irrigation on site

The concept combines environmental awareness, regionality and sustainability into a harmonious holistic concept.
